London Square withdrew their planning application during 2024 and have been reviewing the feedback from the Council and the local community.

They appointed a new architect, Ascot Design, to take a fresh look at the site and prepare a new scheme. This is currently being developed by the team and will be submitted to the council as a new planning application for consideration in the coming weeks.

The scheme delivers an exciting opportunity to assist with the objectives for the rejuvenation of Ascot and create an attractive place for the local community to live, work and play. This now includes around a 100 new homes, including 40% affordable homes, a mixed-use building with community space on the ground floor and a new publicly accessible park with pedestrian and cycle connections between surrounding sites, the High Street and Station Hill.
